The Story of Santos Dolls

There’s something hauntingly beautiful about a Santos Doll. Born centuries ago in Spain, Portugal, and the Philippines, these hand-carved figures were created not simply as ornaments, but as guardians of faith. When grand statues in churches were too far away, families would bring these smaller saints into their homes — each one lovingly painted, dressed in fabric, and carried through rituals of devotion.
